Auburn junior defensive tackle Derrick Brown will return to the Plains for his senior season, according his posts on social media.

Brown was projected to be a first round selection in the NFL Draft, but will remain at Auburn for his final year of eligibility.

“I want to leave Auburn with my degree and a championship,” Brown said in the post. “I can feel the momentum.”

Brown is staying in Auburn for his final year of eligibility and is aiming to leave with a championship and a degree. At present, Brown has a record of 48 tackles and 4.5 sacks in the present season. He is included in the first round selection of the NFL Draft but he remains undecided if he will declare for it. However, he promised to make a decision before the start of the spring semester.
